Terms and Conditions for Shanti P Artistry

Thank you for visiting Shanti P Artistry. I am committed to ensuring your experience of discussing, selecting and investing in my artwork is as seamless, transparent and satisfying as possible. If you decide to place an order on this website, you are agreeing in full to these Terms and Conditions below.
Artwork Investments
Online
Please ensure you as the investor are satisfied with the piece of art you select, as Shanti P Artistry does not offer refunds. Please contact the Artist, Shanti Padme, to discuss any questions, clarifications or concerns prior to completing your investment if you are not certain.
In-person
If the Artist, Shanti Padme, has arranged for you as the investor to view and select the piece of art you decide to invest in, the financial transaction will be required to be finalised by a direct debit into the bank account of Shanti P Artistry. Bank details will be provided to you at the time of your investment.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivered by Post/Courier
Shanti P Artistry ships worldwide. Costs are calculated at the time of purchase.
Within one to two weeks of receiving the order, the artwork will be carefully prepared and packaged with a focus on protecting the artwork, then dispatched to your courier service of choice for shipment. International investors will need to pay any/all import costs. Please refer to your country’s charges for importing your piece of art. Shanti will contact you to confirm the artwork is in the capable hands of the courier service, and tracking details will be provided. Shipping includes tracking and email notifications, insurance cover for loss or damage, and signature upon delivery.
Australian delivery time for the standard delivery option is approximately 6 business days. International delivery time for the standard delivery option is approximately 6 to 10 business days, depending upon the country it is being delivered to.
Personally delivered by Artist
If the investor chooses, the Artist, Shanti Padme, will personally deliver the piece of art to the investor if the investor lives within a 1 hour radius of Newport, Queensland. This will occur after one of these circumstances:
following an online order for the piece of art made by the investor, or
at the same time the investor views the artwork in-person with Shanti and transfers the money to the bank account of Shanti P Artistry (in this case, the artwork will not be packaged in the usual way), or
after the investor views the artwork in-person with Shanti and transfers the money to the bank account of Shanti P Artistry or places the order online (in this case, the artwork may or may not be packaged in the usual way).
If the piece of art is to be a gift and the investor chooses, Shanti will personally deliver the piece of art to the gift recipient if the gift recipient lives within a 1 hour radius of Newport, Queensland. This will occur after one of these two circumstances:
following an online order for the piece of art made by the investor, or
after the investor views the artwork in-person with Shanti and transfers the money to the bank account of Shanti P Artistry, and the delivery details for the gift recipient are provided to Shanti (in this case, the artwork may or may not be packaged in the usual way).
Shanti will contact the investor within three business days of receiving the online order or receiving the bank transfer, and arrange a suitable day and time for the in-personal delivery to be made. Shanti will, if possible, make the in-person delivery within one to two weeks of receiving the order or bank transfer.
If for any reason Shanti cannot personally deliver the piece of art, she will discuss with the investor whether another person is able to deliver it in lieu of Shanti, or whether the item will need to be delivered via a postal or courier service.
Please contact Shanti if you live just outside of the 1 hour radius to ask whether it’s possible for the artwork to be delivered in-person to you.
Damage in Transit
The piece of art you are investing in will be packaged with the utmost care in highly protective and strong packaging. If the unthinkable happens and your piece of art is damaged in transit, your investment is protected under the shipping insurance with Australia Post.
You as the investor are required to contact the Artist, Shanti Padme at Shanti P Artistry, as soon as possible after the damaged artwork is received to:
notify Shanti of the damage
provide as many clear, high-resolution photographs of the exterior of the package, the interior of the package and packaging, and all areas of the artwork that has been damaged, and
you must retain the damaged package, packaging until Shanti advises you and confirms that the insurance process has been resolved.
Once resolved, the investor will need to arrange with Shanti to have the piece of art returned to Shanti P Artistry (Shanti will cover this expense initially, and this may or may not be recouped from the insurance claim with Australia Post or other relevant courier service) and:
you will receive a full refund once the damaged artwork is received by Shanti, or
you will be able to select a new piece of art, which will be delivered to you (paid for by Shanti) once the damaged artwork is received by Shanti (if there is a difference in value of the artwork, you will either need to pay the additional or you will be refunded the difference, whichever applies), or
arrange with Shanti for her to create a commissioned piece of equal size and value, which will be delivered to you (paid for by Shanti) once the damaged artwork is received by Shanti (this may occur after it is received if the new piece is not yet finished).
If only the floating frame has been damaged and the artwork remains undamaged, you must keep the piece of art and Shanti will post you (free of charge) a replacement floating frame.
