This website, Shanti P Artistry (shantipartistry.com) is operated by Artist Shanti Padme from Queensland, Australia. Shopping online requires the collection of the personal information of art investors and other interested people for the purposes of communication in relation to enquiries, investment purchases, and for the finalisation of the shipment of the order.

Personal Information Collected

As little personal information as possible is collected by Shanti P Artistry. A name and an email address is requested, and providing a contact telephone number is optional. Once a piece of art has been invested in, additional information such as a postal address is required for shipment.

Source, Storage & Use of Personal Information Collected

The information is provided by the art investor or an enquirer on this website, Shanti P Artistry (shantipartistry.com), and is stored in the website’s built-in record-keeping and analytics systems.

The personal information is used by the Artist, Shanti Padme, to make contact with a person who has contacted her with an enquiry, or to make contact with an art investor who has purchased a piece of art. This contact is for the purposes of confirming the investment purchase, and confirming the artwork has been despatched for delivery. The contact may also be made to confirm the artwork is being prepared for delivery.

In the event the art investor lives within a 1 hour radius from Newport, Queensland, the Artist may contact the art investor to discuss whether the art investor would like their artwork to be delivered in-person by the Artist. If so, all contact made will be conducted for the purposes of arranging, confirming and undertaking the in-person delivery.

If a person nominates they wish to sign up to receive Newsletters by email, the ongoing use of this person’s email address will continue until such a time as the person unsubscribes from the newsletter.

The Artist may use some of the personal information for analytics purposes, which she herself conducts. This information will not be shared with any third party, other than those described below (for shipment purposes).

Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties for Shipment

To ensure Shanti P Artistry is able to deliver the artwork to the art investor, the art investor’s name and shipping address will need to be provided to the postal or courier service (usually Australia Post, and your subsequent postal service if you live internationally). Contact details such as a telephone number will be provided to them, unless you specify otherwise.

Other than providing your personal information to third parties for shipment purposes, Shanti P Artistry does not and will not share your personal information with any third party for any other purpose.

Duration of Storage of Personal Information

Personal information is stored for the duration required to fulfill its purposes: until the enquiry has been finalised; and until the Newsletter subscriber unsubscribes from receiving Newsletters.

In relation to art investors purchasing artwork, the art investors personal information is retained for the duration required legally under relevant legislation. This includes at least until the art investor receives the artwork, and is satisfied with the condition of the piece of art upon receipt of it, up until a period of approximately 3 years.
